Members of Derby SEND Voice are going to be at the Heart of the Park Café, Arboretum Park on Monday 21st July between 11-1 and would love to invite any parent carers to join them for a cuppa and a chat in a relaxed atmosphere before the summer holidays.
Grab your self a drink and a cake (not supplied by Derby SEND Voice), and chat with other parent carers in the local community as well finding out who Derby SEND Voice are and what they do.
We picked the Heart of the Park Café, as it is a unique venue that embraces inclusivity with open arms. The café is an initiative between St. Martins school and St. Andrews academy that encourages engagement and empowerment for young people with Special needs.
